Many Legend of the Seeker fans continue to email the Save Our Seeker team to ask how they can help save the show if they're not in a position to donate money. Here are some suggestions:
- Send a letter to ABC. See sample at: http://sot-fan.livejournal.com/305.html
- Send a letter to the TV network executives listed on the Journey Book Campaign calendar
- Send a letter to your local TV station. You can tweak the letter above. TV stations addresses in the US are here, and outside the US are here
- Send a letter to Sam Raimi: Sam Raimi, c/o Renaissance Pictures, 315 S. Beverly Dr., Suite 216, Beverly Hills, CA 90212-4310 USA
- Send a postcard. The text of the one I sent is at: http://sot-fan.livejournal.com/1295.html
- Sign these two online petitions:
- Ask your local library to purchase the Legend of the Seeker S1 and S2 DVDs if they don't have them already. Most libraries in the US have an online suggestion form, or an email to contact them
- Contact the TV critic of your local newspaper (especially if you're familiar with his/her column). See example at http://sot-fan.livejournal.com/3716.html
- Send your photo to the Seeker Wall
- Send your photo to the Seeker Flag Project
- Send your video to the Seeker Fan Video Project
- Write/email to your local stores & their respective headquarters (Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Virgin Megastore) and ask them to carry the S1 DVD in-store. Find the contacts on the ProBoards
